Working with the body

Our bodies store a lot of our history. It's where a lot of our habits, responses, and fears find a place. These habits can be quite innocent at first, but on the long term can create a lot of pain in the body and can make us feel stuck in our lives. If you tense the neck for a year, you'll be ok. If you do it for ten years you will most probably develop severe injury. We are all unique in the way we deal with situations, but we are all the same in the fact that the way we do is reflected in our bodies. 

How do i work

In a Bodylearning session I work with what is there. If someone pulls op the shoulders, blocks the throat, and cuts of from the lower body in response to stress, that is what we work with. We make the client aware of the habit and offer other options. In this way we try to create more freedom for the client, in the body and in life.

We are both, mind and body. There is no way to deny it. During a sessions we speak to the body trough touch, and to the mind trough words.
